Greeting Card Pricing
Pricing Your Greeting Cards on Imagekind
Imagekind allows you to set a markup at a variety of levels. You can set your prices on an entire portfolio (all galleries, public and private), on a gallery, or on an individual image. You can always change your markups at any time, so feel free to experiment!
Not only can you set your markup at various levels, you can specify a different markup for each product, package and paper type. Just click "Advanced Markup" and the controls are all yours. Setting a markup for greeting cards automatically allows them to be sold on Imagekind. If you want just a few of your images available for sale as greeting cards, then markup those images individually.

Portfolio Level Pricing

Make all your images available as greeting cards and set your markup all in one fell swoop. You can specify your markup at the portfolio level either as a fixed amount (such as $10.00), or a percentage about the base price (such as 25%). If you don't want to sell greeting cards, you can disable this option by selecting the "Do not make any images available as a greeting card" button.

Gallery Level Pricing

Setting a price for greeting cards on the gallery level allows all images in a specified gallery to be sold on Imagekind. To get started, select a gallery using the Gallery drop-down menu. You can then specify a markup as a fixed amount or a percentage above the base price. Be sure to save each markup value you enter by clicking the "Save" button before selecting another gallery to price. If you want to sell greeting cards in some of your galleries, and not others, this is the place to do it.

Image Level Pricing

You can set a markup for greeting cards one image at a time, or by selecting multiple images and then specifying the same markup across your entire selection. To select an image, click on an image in the image picker. The image will appear slightly greyed when selected. Select additional images by clicking on them. Once you have selected all the desired images, click "Set markup on selected images". When the markup window appears, enter a markup value (fixed value or percentage), and click the Save button to save your changes.
